But unfortunately in inappropriate conditions, which require as urgent changes as possible in order to be turned into a unique tourist experience for all visitors. The project, worth 30 million kuna, envisages that in a space of about two and a half thousand square meters, in addition to the museum exhibition, there will be a multimedia center, a master workshop and a souvenir shop. Part of the allocated space will consist of a multipurpose hall, archive and documentation center and administrative and storage spaces. By transforming a part of the Fortress into an Interactive Creative Center dedicated to traditional tamburitza music and a traditional musical instrument, the space would be protected from further deterioration, and then – gradually – connected to the urban and cultural fabric of the city. Later programs should turn it into a real tourist attraction and a first-class tourist experience for visitors from both Croatia and abroad.Source: Sbplus.hrlast_img
