Flow Sports network will give local fans a special access to reports and updates from Super Bowl Week, including coverage of all the exciting events surrounding one of the biggest sporting events in the world. The Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers will compete in this year’s Super Bowl, which is set to take place in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday and will mark the 50th anniversary of the professional American football championship. “It is a great privilege to have an opportunity to participate in the biggest annual American sporting event,” said John Reid, president of Cable and Wireless’ consumer group. Court Detains Two On Charges Of Gang Rape

first_imgThe Monrovia City Court at the Temple of Justice has detained two persons at the Monrovia Central Prison (MCP) on charges of gang rape.Defendants Jayso Fizz and Qucto Henry, both residents of the 72nd Boulevard Community, were on July 24 arrested by the Liberia National Police (LNP) based upon a complaint filed by the victim’s mother alleging that her 12-year-old daughter was gang raped by the two defendants.The Police charge sheet said the victim was missing for over two weeks before her aunt found her at the home of defendants Fizz and Henry.According to the Police charge sheet, the victim was forcibly raped and beaten by the defendants, and that she was later taken to a nearby clinic by her parents where a medical checkup established that she was sexually abused.During police investigation, the victim disclosed that the defendants threatened to kill her if she told anyone about her ordeal.However, defendants Fizz and Henry have denied the allegation against them.The two defendants are detained, awaiting court trial on a date to be subsequently announced by the court.Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)last_img read more
