Natural beauties, cultural and historical heritage and various riches that abound in the county located in the heart of Croatia are the key motives of the new tourist video of Karlovac County. The video “In the heart of Croatia” was premiered in the historic ambience of the Old Town of Dubovac, and the staff evokes everything that the county abounds in. The new tourist video of Karlovac County aims to attract new tourists and popularize the Karlovac area as one of the unavoidable places in Croatia. Karlovac County is full of natural beauties and various facilities, which allow every visitor, regardless of the season, to find ideal activities for themselves. The new tourist video perfectly summed up everything that Karlovac County has to offer. It is interesting and unusual that the tourist video was jointly directed by Karlovac County Prefect Damir Jelić and Srećko Radeljić, while the music was provided by the famous Croatian musician and composer Rajko Dujmić. In the meantime, there is no need to worry about it. ””Success cannot be lacking in any business that is done with emotions. That’s why it was wonderful to work with people like Rajko, because he does it with emotion and experience. This video is not purposeful, but a real artistic expression. It will produce several short videos, which will show specific segments – cycling, gastronomy, river rafting, historical fortifications. Only then will the video have its true meaning and in the right way spread the word about the beauties of Karlovac and the diversity of the tourist offer of this region.”, Said at the premiere presentation of Karlovac County Prefect Damir Jelic.Minister of Tourism Gari Cappelli was also at the premiere of the video and described it as “very professional” and stressed that it will have its premiere at other tourism fairs where Croatia will be presented. “Karlovac is located in a strategically important tourist position and can accommodate tourists almost all year round. I was recently at a camp here in the county where 90 percent of the foreign guests stay there for an average of 3-4 days. Therefore, when we talk about tourism 365 days a year, we are talking about counties such as Karlovačka, which they showed with this tourist video. Karlovac has definitely become a tourist destination, and Karlovac County a tourist county.”, Said Minister Gary Cappelii.
COLOMBO: The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) board has requested the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to explore options as to how India’s tour of Sri Lanka scheduled in July could go ahead, in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic which has brought the world to a standstill. As per a report published in ‘The Island’, “Sri Lanka Cricket has sent an e-mail to their counterparts at Board of Control for Cricket in India requesting the possibility of resuming bilateral cricket later in July.” Virat Kohli-led India are slated to tour the Island Nation in mid-July for three ODIs and three T20 internationals. But with the coronavirus pandemic halting all sporting events across the globe including the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, there is cloud over this tour too. The report further said that “when contacted by The Island, an official said that they would have to follow strict quarantine rules and the series might take place behind closed doors considering the safety of fans.” Sri Lanka Cricket has already seen England cancel their tour in mid-March after the outbreak of the pandemic in the middle of the second warm-up game.
